"I went on the Net searching for someone in my area. Quite honestly, I can’t imagine how you can get a Certificate within a weekend/week and what was being touted on the various website. I found that confusing and hard to believe that after a weekend you could walk away and be able to handle any situation that came your way. "The training is very intense but it's great. It really separates those that just think they can be stagers and those that really have talent. You will have a very specific test to complete and a detailed portfolio that you will need to complete to achieve the credentials, but it's worth it. Recently I was receiving counselling for 'anxiety' but have not had sessions in recent months due to having to go back to work for financial reasons. "Well, if someone needs "proof" that this stuff works...it happened here folks! Barbara, as I mentioned the "whooper house" had been on the market 9 months and needed to sell in 5 weeks or the owner was going to loose her new house that is being built. In that 9 months, I did found out there had been one flimsy offer and financing didn't go through.

I staged the home Friday afternoon getting it ready for the first of 5 open house Sundays. . . . Saturday afternoon an outside realtor unexpectedly called to see the house. Her clients were relatively sure they were going to put a bid on another house but were willing to look at one more house.

I had been looking at another Staging Company which offered 2 day training for Realtors and 3 day training for others.($1850) plus additional training for 6 days to receive a Masters Training, which to receive a ASPM Certificiation(If I wanted). Fees for individual membership $150.00 per year. I am certain there would be more fees. I am in Real Estate Now which expenses for classes, advertising, Dues, and etc. are enormous. I like your Ala Carte menue where I could pick and choose according to what I would want and the expense. Right now the Real Estate Market is down and so budgeting wants again comes into play! "I basically just switched the dining table with the black chairs to make a cozy conversation area at the end of the room and put the dining table in the front of the room off the kitchen bar.
